Due to mygarage do being broken I am currently outside (attempting to) replacing a fuel pump. With my makeshift tarp wind blocker it's not that terrible. However I after awhile my hands start to feel cold. Before you ask, I have to fix it outside because I have to drive almost three hours north Friday afternoon and I honestly doubt the garage door will be fixed by then.

You aren't in Illinois, are you? I had a few projects there and it's been just miserable to be outside.

No way to prop up the door and get the car inside?

I came so close to doing just that and that is still on the table. However the time I need to return the car Friday they charge me for another day.

Old heavy wooden door and the part that is broken is the part that assists a person to open it.

That happened to me at my last house, giant wooden door, 2.5 cars wide. The torsion spring that opens the door broke, in the winter too. Im just glad it broke while the door was closed and not while I was driving under it.

God love you for living there. I’ll take 90 like we had here today personally.

Same here, luckily my car was stuck outside instead of in.

If things go my way I have a max of 18 months left of this.
